Italian Frying Peppers
Padron’s, Jimmy Nardello’s etc. (long red and green contorted peppers).
Wash and dry peppers thoroughly. Heat olive oil until hot in sauté pan (almost smoking hot) and place peppers in the oil. Blister on all sides-remove to heated platter and salt to your taste. Can also be threaded onto skewer and grilled until blistered on all sides. Great snack or appetizer!
Snack Peppers
Small golden, orange or red pepper that resemble an orange or yellow bell pepper in miniature.
Eat these raw as a snack or stuff with cheese, chicken or tuna salad, etc.
